Hey Family!
Sorry that last week's letter was so short. The concert was awesome though! I saw and talked to a lot of the Abeno members. It was nice to see some familiar faces. It was nice to hear from you guys again. Sounds like all is well with the Bowmans and Lenzi is living on "love and tater pie!"
This week in Maizuru was insane! It was by far my busiest week in the mission. We have a goal as a mission to teach 20 lessons a week. These include investigators, member lessons, Eikawa (English class) and less active lessons. This is hard to achieve but this week we blew that out of the water. I feel super blessed because I know that many people benefited from it. What do the missionaries do in your ward? Do they do lessons with you, or commit you to bring a friend to church? etc?
This week I talked to that less active member named Brother Kizaki on the phone. We read Moroni 10:5 and I asked him when he feels the spirit? He told me that when I call him he feels the spirit. It was really nice to hear that a little phone call can help. To end the phone call he prayed and I got really emotional because of the spirit. It is so special to hear heartfelt prayers from good friends. Way good experience. This Sunday was also way good. We had a new investigator, Tatsuya, come to church. He is 25 and way smart. he accepted to be baptized on April 18th. This was the first time we actually sat down with him and taught about the gospel. The spirit does amazing things. He is way solid and I know he'll get baptized. Please pray for him. I know you guys do anyway, but thanks.
Well, I am super thankful for a great family. It is super rare here because they don't have Christ. It really makes a difference. The mission is a riot and I really think this is the happiest I have ever been. Serving others is the key. Thanks again, and till next week--peace!
